Mission Trips:

Amazon Outreach (Madri Gras 2009): The Chapel will send a group consisting of adults, high-school and college students to share the love of Christ through medical clinics, sports, and VBS along the Amazon River. Contact Tonni McCollister for information at 5macs@bellsouth.net.

Mexico (Spring Break 2009): In a dual-effort between the Refuge and the Chapel's youth ministry, teams will be traveling to Acuna, Mexico during their respective weeks of Spring Break. They will be serving through medical care, kids' clubs, and street evangelism.

China (May 20-July 20, 2009): A short-term team from the Chapel will be working in China for the fifth summer to partner with Chinese Christians to spread the Gospel of hope and life on college campuses and in communities. Also, the team will continue serving with workers in western China seeking to impact unreached people groups. There are numerous options for service and length of stay in China with us. Italy (May 26-June 20, 2009): The team of college students will be meeting Italian students and sharing about personal growth in relationship with the Lord. Ministry will be highly relational.

Prague, Czech Republic (May 15-July 15, 2009): For the second year, a team from the Refuge will minister to students through relational ministry and outreaches while partnering with Campus Crusade long term missionaries.

Bolivia (Summer 2009): In a pioneering effort to establish a lasting, long-term relationship with college students in this country, the Refuge will be sending a team to participate in campus ministry and church planting.

Cameroon Africa(TBA 2009): The trip is sponsored by Hope Outreach International Ministries which was begun by members of the Chapel in 2007. The trip will involve working in an orphanage, participating with evangelistic crusades, hosting a women's conference and medical work in the villages.
