Our Commitment to Missions

The mission of the Chapel is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ on the campus, in the community, and around the world. As His disciples we are called to exalt God, edify one another, evangelize the lost, and extend love and compassion to all.

Missions is essential to the mission of the Chapel. Our vision is for God to work through the Chapel as a center for missions to eternally impact Baton Rouge, the state of Louisiana, the North American continent, and the ends of the earth by strategically conducting evangelism, discipleship, and compassionate service in order to support the starting and building of healthy churches/ministries that will ignite church planting movements throughout the world.

We strongly encourage members of the Chapel to pursue missionary opportunities throughout the world. The sending process is the outgrowth of assuming our responsibility as a church to mature, equip, commission, support and evaluate those whom God has called to carry His message both near and far.
